Its finally over.  The talks of a potential buyout/merger/alliance/etc between Microsoft & Yahoo has come to an end as Yahoo surrenders their search functionality to the bleeding giant.  What does this mean to you?  Absolutely nothing.  Yahoo will still continue to feed you news but now it’s search results will be Bing-based.  Microsoft will now share advertising profits with Yahoo, who will both continue to look for new ways to make money as pieces of themselves fall to the wayside…

Yahoo is extremely excited about the sell to Microsoft, as they have been looking to trim that fat for quite some time.  I wonder what technology they will invest in next!   Or maybe I don’t…
