Bored at work?  Chess with Friends, by Newtoy is a solid chess game which allows multiplayer with other iPhone owners. The game is free with ads only showing in the menu interface.  Chess with Fiends allows multiplayer over 3G or 2 player support from one iPhone.  You can also player a random player who has also downloaded the app.  This particular chess app is polished and I haven’t experienced any type of issues except losing to my fellow chess players.  Players are notified via text messages or email dependant on preference.
